Orange Beach, considered part of the Gulf Shores, sits on the Gulf of Mexico and is very evocative of Ocean City.
Fort Morgan
Located at nearly the end of the barrier island to the west of Orange Beach, one couldn’t help but wonder if humans should even be building there.
Dauphin Island
Accessible by ferry (get in line an hour early) from Fort Morgan or by car south from Mobile, Dauphin Island offers beaches that allow dogs, apparently a “no no” on the Gulf Shores, and a sweet little aquarium with an octopus that just arrived!
