Ryman
A beautfu building on the outside, the theatre and self-guided tour were delightful! The Ryman continues to operate as an entertainment venue and is well known and respected world-wide.
The tour includes a facinating overview of the history of this building, from its roots as an evangelical place of worship to its role in promoting the Grand Ole Opry, to its full renovation in 1993. It also includes stories and memorabiliia associated with well-known artists who have performed and enhanced their careers at the Ryman. Johnny and June cash apparently met there.
It’s a fun and interesting place with a facinating history. Its affiliation with Hatch Show Print - the design and print stop that created nearly all of the promotions for upcoming shows was a treat for the eyes and definitely worthy of a tour.
